Puget Summer

- Very late season, similar to ‘Firecracker’ and ‘Independence’
- Excellent fresh flavor
- Excellent processing characteristics, but may ripen too late for many processors.
- High yields
- Early fruit can be very large, average size is medium
- Fruit is held up off of ground, reducing incidence of fruit rot without fungicides
- Susceptible to powdery mildew in years when this disease is severe
